The Ghandruk Trek leads you to the fascinating village of Ghandruk. Most of the Ghandruk trail leads through the villages of Gurung and Magar, then through the forest of rhododendron flowers.The trail is blessed by the magnificent views of the mountain ranges along the way.

Day 1    Drive to Kande & trek to Landruk

After breakfast, drive to Kande (1 hour drive) past the Hyanga Tibetan Settlement. Start walking from Kande. The trail climbs quite steeply overlooking Fewa Lake with great views to a small clearing (this is a campsite called Australian Camp).  The path then ascends through the woods to Potana (30mins). From Potana, the trail climbs up through woods again to Deurali (2100m). From Deurali there is a steep descent through the forest to Bhichuck.  From Bhichuk the trail traverses to the hill side to Tolkha .Continue walking for another 1 hour to reach Landruk and spend a night at the local t house/Lodge. Approx. 1 hour drive & 5-6 hrs walk.

Day 02    Trek from Landruk to Ghandruk

After breakfast, we'll leave around 8 AM. The trail contours easily round to Landruk for about 1.5hrs – you can stop for a drink here. (From Landruk you can see the village of Gandruk right across the valley but it is actually quite a long way). The path goes very steeply down to the valley bottom, crosses the Modi River by bridge and then climbs very steeply uphill to Gandruk. Cross the modi river bridge and you'll find a few teahouses just up from the river for lunch. After lunch, we'll hike up a stone staircase to the village of Ghandruk.  In Gandruk, there are plenty to things do keep you busy in the afternoon. You can visit Gurung museum or opt-in to go for a walk around the old part of the village. You can also walk up to place called Komrong on the way to Chomrong – a good hour from Ghandrung – tea house at the top. Overnight at the local lodge in Ghhandruk.

Day 03    Trek from Ghandruk to Kimche and drive to Pokhara

Affter breakfast, we'll walk down for an hour to reach Kimche and drive to Pokhara via Birethanti & Nayapul which takes about 1 hour 30 minutes.
